SUMMER DAY CAMP

June 9th - July 25th

Monday - Friday

9am - 4pm

Ages: Entering Kindergarten - entering 6th grade

​

$150 per week

Each week will be a different theme with activities, crafts and field trips.

One field trip per week.

​

Price includes draw string backpack, all activities/field trips and a snack.

Children need to provide their own packed lunch each day.

Extended Care available

before (drop off 7:30am) and after (pick up 5:30pm)

Weekly themes:
 

June 9th – 13th: Nature Week

Campers will connect with nature and the great outdoors. Through hands on discovery, art, hikes, games, and activities, campers will explore plant life and birds and discover insect habitats. Campers will enjoy a field trip to Wesselmann Woods Nature Center where they will enjoy animal encounters, the nature playscape, and more.

June 16th – 20th: STEAM Week

Campers will take part in exciting science, technology, and engineering activities to spark imaginations and keep them entertained and engaged. Field Trip will be at CMOE.

​

June 23rd – 27th: Sports Week

Campers will participate in the NUMC Olympics with opening and closing ceremonies, medals, and more. Classic games like dodgeball, kickball, soccer, and many more will be introduced and played during the week. Campers will get on and off-site lessons from local sport pros. Field Trip will be at Burdette Park.

June 30th – July 3rd: Reading Rainbow Week

Campers will advance their current reading skills through activities like play, music, crafts, and lessons. Campers will create characters, stories and make their own books as well as expand their vocabulary and interest in reading. Campers will have visits with local authors and take a field trip to the Evansville downtown library. Campers will leave camp with a special activity pack for July 4th and the summer.

July 7th – 11th: Art Week

Campers will be introduced to a broad range of art, including sculpture, drawing, pastels, cartoon and watercolors, collage, and more. Through local artist workshops/lessons and other activities, campers will learn the basics of each art principle and have a lot of fun. Campers will enjoy a field trip to the Evansville Art Museum and have a gallery of art after this experience.

July 14th – 18th: Hero Week

Have you ever wished that you could be a superhero? Join us for Superhero Camp, and you can live the dream! Boost your confidence and explore your imagination while entering the world of superheroes. Learn valuable leadership skills and character qualities, while you visit and learn from local hero's. Field Trip will be to the LST War Ship or the Wartime Museum.

July 21st – 25th: Carnival Week

This week will feature a host of carnival games, complete with tickets, bounce houses, popcorn, and prizes. Campers will learn how to juggle, the art of clown makeup, and more. On Thursday, campers will take a trip to Newburgh Family Fun Center to play the arcade midway and gather prizes.​​

​

Summer Camp – Each week camp will include a field trip, daily snacks, crafts, gym, music, and

bible time as well as indoor and outdoor activities.
